A tale in tango celebrating identity, freedom and passion…
Through the creation of the company This is Tango Now, Fernanda Ghi, Guillermo Merlo and Alfredo Minetti, together with light designer Anibal Rea, set out to create a stage extravaganza to showcase their combined talents, redefining, in the process, the genre of Tango shows. The stage of Identidad is filled with an overabundance of light and colors, movement and energy, passion and emotions and music from the most celebrated Tango masters – Osvaldo Pugliese and Astor Piazzolla – to bring the story to life in front of breathless audiences.
In genre-busting choreographies and costumes the all-star cast takes us on a journey through the emotional rollercoaster that is called Argentine Tango.
The show in Plano will include 3 Professional Argentine Tango Couples:

We are happy to have them back March 25th and 26th, 2012.
The intensive will be exploring the multiple posibilities of "SACADAS":
-sacadas for the Leaders
-sacadas for the Followers
-Front/Back Sacadas
-Rotated Sacadas
-Linear Sacadas
The objective of this intensive is:
-to explore sacadas not as a step, but as an element and its multiple possibilities.
-to become familiar in order to improvise and incorporate at any moment of your dance.
SACADAS are one of the elements of Tango Salon, with many possibilities to apply them. If you understand the mechanics, it can be incorporated in a simple walk to several turns.
